From the stunningly beautiful Island of Sardinia off of Italy's west coast. Vermentino is native to the Mediterranean coast of northern Italy and southern France (where it's called Rolle). These days, it is most closely identified with Sardinia and coastal Tuscany. Flavors and aromas of tangerine and grapefruit with notes of mint. Nice on its own or with fish, poultry, sharp, chalky cheeses and garden salads
